For the most part the fall and winter months is not consider "flea season". However, for some parts of the United States and even other countries flea 'season' is year round. I live in South Georgia and it seems it is always flea season here. It may taper off during the cooler months, but for the most part we battle fleas year round.

Normally, I dogmatically recommend Natural Flea Control for all my cats and for my customers cats and dogs, however, there are times when Natural either just doesn't work as well as one would like or takes too long to work.

When you have a cat or dog that has a very severe infestation of fleas you sometimes have to resort to drastic measures. This sometimes means you may have to use a commercial or prescription product temporarily until the flea problem is under control.

I highly recommend after getting the initial flea problem under control to then switch to an all natural flea control product for your cat's flea problems.

When you must aggressively combat fleas until they are under control there are a number of products on the market to help remedy flea infestation. After, initially getting the fleas under control switch to an all natural product like Triple Sure.

Warning! When using any flea control product, especially over-the-counter, prescription or other flea medication be sure to read the instructions carefully, especially the potential risks and side effect.

Also, be sure use the appropiate products for your cat based on their weight and general health. If in question always contact your vet.

Note: Although we prefer using all natural flea control products on all our pets we have had success using Advantage Mulit for Cats on those rare ocassions when we needed something a little stronger in the beginning.
